Company Policies

The Spa Renew Dude reserves the right to change, delete, or add to these policies with out notice.  Under certain circumstances policies will not be posted here.  Please contact us for more information.

1. Deposits:

    Deposits will be required on all spa purchases.  The amount of the deposit will be equal to half of the sale price.  Deposits are NONREFUNDABLE.  All deposits must be made within 24hrs of verbal or written purchase agreement.

2. Parts and/or equipment orders:

    Parts and/or equipment must be paid in FULL prior to ordering.

3. Refunds:

    No cash refunds are given.  Refunds will be given in the form of a company credit, if applicable, at The Spa Renew Dude’s discretion.

4. Cancellation Fees:

    A delivery, set up, and/or service call cancellation notice must be received 24 hrs prior to scheduled date.  Notice may come via phone or email. It is the customer’s responsibility to verify receipt of cancellation notice.  If notice is not received, The Spa Renew Dude Company reserves the right to bill customer a minimum of $75.

5. Shop, Onsite, and Travel Fees:

    Shop rate is $48 per hour.  Onsite repairs are $75 per hour plus travel time fee of $35 *(within Deschuttes county & upper Klamath county, Oregon. Else where is negotiable depending on mileage).  Shop rates and Onsite repair rates are for labor ONLY.  Parts are extra.  Prices are subject to change with out notice.  Payment is due upon completion, unless other agreed upon arrangements have been made. All custom shop invoices must be prepaid, or prior arrangements must be made for payment.

6. Check Policy:

    All checks written to the Spa Renew Dude will be held for up to 10 days, or until they clear the bank. At such time, the spa will be delivered and/or parts will be ordered.  NO EXCEPTIONS.

7. Warranties For Spas:

    Included in this warranty is as follows:
    1. Pumps, control panel, heater, plumbing, jets, Will be replaced with new or like new replacements at The Spa Renew Dude’s discretion.

    2. This warranty does not cover abuse, misuse, carelessness, owner attachments, or modifications. Failure to maintain the spa in good working order, any acts of mother nature, (snow, wind, rain, earth quakes, lighting, Ect.) Failure to keep proper water level, siding, Filter(s), chemicals used in the spa, failure to maintain spa’s exterior and interior shell.

    3. Also not warranted are the Main Electrical connections to the spa. Spa must be installed to conform with acceptable trade practices and to local building codes.  This should be warranted by a licensed electrician at the owner’s discretion. Any and all connections must be done by a licensed electrician, Failure to do so shall void warranty. Failure to install proper size GFCI breaker or proper sized wiring as recommended by spa manufacture shall void warranty.

    4. Failure to properly read and follow owner’s manual instructions shall void warranty.

    5. The Spa Renew Dude Company and it’s agents shall not be liable for any injury, loss, cost or other damage, whether incidental or consequential, arising out of the use of spa, by this warranty, including without limitation, loss of use of the spa. Coverage under this warranty shall commence upon date of purchase.

    6.  New owner acknowledges that Spa Is sold “AS IS” and that it is a “USED” spa. The Spa Renew Dude Company Has made every effort to insure that the spa is in good working order.

    8. All warranty service must be performed by The Spa Renew Dude Company.

    9. It is the buyer’s responsibility to notify The Spa Renew Dude of any problems with their spa at the time the problem occurs, I.E.: leaks, not heating, control settings, low pressure, etc. If The Spa Renew Dude is not notified, warranty shall be voided. When notified, a warranty appointment will be scheduled within a reasonable amount of time depending on the severity of the problem with the spa.

    10. Spa covers, tops, easy-cover lifts are NOT warranted unless so noted in written contract issued at time of sale.

8. Warranties for Parts or Equipment Installed by Customer:

    Warranties for parts and/or equipment purchases from The Spa Renew Dude and installed by customer are warranted by manufacturer’s warranty.

9. Warranties for Parts or Equipment Installed by The Spa Renew Dude:

    Parts and/or equipment ordered by customer, but installed by The Spa Renew Dude are covered by The Spa Renew Dude’s 90-day warranty and the manufacturer’s warranty, if applicable.

10. Electricity To Spa:

    Main power to spa must be disconnected and/or reconnected by a licensed electrician. The hiring, scheduling, and cost for the electrician is the customer’s responsibility.
